Free 3D Glasses Loaner Program
Our objective is to provide premium quality reusable 3D glasses at no cost to exhibitors, studios and movie-goers.
The Eco 3D Glasses loaner service was developed out of a perceived need to encourage the recycling of millions upon millions of glasses that are used and wasted annually. We have developed a patent-pending system with 3D glasses affixed with RFID chips to maximize efficiency, retention, and logistics/tracking while remaining environmentally conscious by reusing sturdier, higher quality glasses.
Combined with movie club membership programs offered by most theater chains, the RFID-based reusable 3D glasses system can track when, where, by whom, and for which movie the glasses are used. After each use, the glasses are professionally cleaned, sterilized and re-packaged.
Since the system can trace where the cleaned glasses are shipped to and when they will be used, targeted advertising materials such as local coupons or upcoming movie promos can be printed or inserted on/in the packaging. The advertising revenues will cover the cost of about 25¢ per use (passive glasses) and any surplus will be shared with the exhibitors.
This patent-pending system is compatible with RealD, Dolby, MasterImage and IMAX glasses.
